Not quite superb, but a decent unhurried thriller. I actually cared for the characters and scratched elbow-rests a few times. Cage was rather convincing in a desire to catch the killer. I wouldn't qualify the role as return or something cause to me his acting wasn't ever bad (excluding The Wicker Man probably). Cusack the killer was very cold-blooded and meticulous losing his temper only at the very end. The girl behaved stupid at times but young girls in thrillers are always stupid so it's ok, nothing extraordinary. There was a chance of 50 Cent spoiling the movie but he didn't have much sreen time thankfully.

^ Nice review ... definitely points out the strength of Cusack and Cage.
I literally just watched this movie (for the first time). I rate it 10/10 and it's in my top 50.
It creeped me out. John Cusack was very creepy in this movie. He's the second scariest performance that I have seen in the movies. The most scariest performance for me is still Daniel Kash for Solo (2013/I).
Volker Flenske: (While torturing David) I don't know why you're doing this to yourself!
