Ideas for Wolf Creek 3

Great film, but I think WC3 can go one better.

It opens with two American sisters in the outback. They run into Mick and get chopped up into bits, and that's the opener done with.

Fast forward six months, and their millionaire father is still beside himself over their disappearance. He decides to hire a rag-tag squad of mercenaries to travel to the Australian outback to hunt them down.

The squad is made up Michael Biehn, Alec Baldwin, Richard Dean Anderson, Louis Gossett Jr and Steve Guttenberg. Upon arrival at Australia, they're apprehended by grizzled Ozzy cop Ray Meagher, who'll only let them go on one condition: he leads the mission to capture his nemesis, Mick.

Travelling to Wolf Creek Crater, they stop for a short while to do some sight-seeing, while Steve Guttenberg guards the vehicle. When they get back, they find him hollowed out and filled with sand. Mick knows they're after him, and this is his way of saying hello.....

I think more expansion of the 'Mick' character is in order. In WC2, his sense of humour really shone through, and I'd like to see more of his wisecracking and witty one-liners, just to give the character more depth.

I think they should also build on the location in WC2 and give Mick a bona fide underground base, filled with rooms and traps, sort of like 'The Cube' I guess. There's also the possibility they could introduce a twist to help justify Mick's actions. Perhaps he was mutated from nuclear bomb tests in the outback in the 1950s and needs to feed on human flesh to survive.

This would then present the heroes and the viewer with a moral dilemma about whether what Mick has been doing is actually wrong, or is he justified in trying to keep himself alive?

What does everyone else think?

I like all of it except for the mutation thing. I dont think Mick should have any "justification" I think they have made it pretty clear he kills to kill, because he really is just an evil sadistic angry bastard that enjoys killing people. My idea for the third, that would end it all perfectly, would be for either your idea, a group of cops or whoever, sent on a mission for him for revenge, or Paul coming back, (and i cant remember if there were any survivors from the first) if there are, them coming back, and then any new travlers Mick picks up in the third teaming up, and the entire movie the tables are turned and it's Mick being chased and torchered only ten times worse because he has a group of angry people ready to just go to town on him. He could still use his humor, because he is prideful and wouldn't want to show he's even pissed. But I think it's time for Mick to die. He shouldn't be the one to win. He has won enough. He can maybe get a couple more kills in the third one, like you said, in the beginning it might be cool for it to be about he kills two more people and then someone rich is so effing pissed and wants to figure out who it is, and sends people who figure it out and he can maybe kill one of them, but then its on, and they torcher him the rest of the movie. OR, the travlers themselves are prepared this time, and act as if they are innocent but have an amazing plan to completely blindside him. A reversed role movie would be freaking awesome. Watching Mick squirm close to halfway through and then the rest of the time would just be a satisfying and entertaining end to the whole franchise for me. I have never wanted a villain to die so bad before. Because hes such a good actor, i truly despise him. And he's so freaking evil, but smart, and sane and knows what hes doing. He knows right from wrong, he's not completely insane so where he doesn't know what he's doing. Hes really just an *beep* that enjoys the hunt. He sees foreigners as animals to hunt and doesn't have a conscious. His brutal death would be an amazing Wolf Creek 3. Byebye Mick, not this time :)

I agree 1000% with everything you said (typed)! Mick NEEDS to die. If any movie character ever needed a killing...IT'S Mick. They should even use the cliché lines of "He needed a killing." followed by "That will teach him!".

I don't know what's a sig. line? Can't think of one! Can you tell me what one is?

So glad you agreeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me WC3 should be like this:

After some years in the mental instituion, the English boy who survided WC2 decides to take on Mick.

That would be awessomeeee..... but i do think there should be more people than just the english dude. But yes. Glad you're board.

Please tell me you are joking.

As much as I would love to see this movie (as it sounds like a hilarious b-movie cheesefest) that would be the most ridiculous way to complete a Wolf Creek trilogy.

There is a "Wolf Creek" mini series in the works. It could go many ways.

Bring back Ben Mitchell from the first
Movie and he teams up with the police force to hunt Mick down while Mick tortures more tourists in the middle of nowhere. We also learn more about Mick and his past!!
