Were we supposed to root for
Mac and Kelly?
Really enjoyed the movie, but I was often rooting against them, they went over-the-top in trying to destroy the frat. Though at times they were also likeable.
My opinion is that you aren't supposed to be rooting for anybody. Both parties become obsessed with the other for reasons beyond the conflict. Dave Franco tells Teddy that he is obsessed because he is afraid of aging and moving on past college, and the couple's friend tells them they are obsessing because they are bored with their adult lives.
