Rather tense (spoilers inside)
I rather enjoyed this film despite it's obvious budget limitations.
Sheridan Smith was the pull for me and she didn't disappoint and despite Jack O'Connell seeming to play the same obnoxious twat he was in Skins, his character was given enough decently written dialogue that you felt obliged to warm to his character during the swift running time.
What was also refreshing that no-one was left unscathed due purely to being old or a child. There seem to be certain rules in Hollywood and one of them is don't kill a child.
The writer and director deserve kudos for ignoring this and making them fair game which only added to the realism.
Shame about the reveal at the end though. all a bit ho hum, but it didn't spoil the 85 minutes before it.
