suffers from scooby doo syndrome

nice to see a low budget film play with action and suspense in a limited location. But the killer revelation is just so obvious, as in scooby doo the villain is always the person who pops up briefly at the start and vanishes and is never the red herring character that gets a mention early on. You'd be surprised how many films do this.

Whatever, Nostradamus. MOST people would've never guessed who the sniper was.

Even after the reveal, it just seemed WAY TOO farfetched and nonsensical, y'know?

reply

I agree with you, it was just too far-fetched. The thought of it being the detective never came into my mind as it's just too stupid.

"Report that to the National Trust mate."

reply

I agree the whole set-up with the killer's identity seems like a TV trope, but I honestly didn't expect it would be the detective. It seems a few others on this board were surprised by it as well.
