Ok ok so what do we do now?

Becky: Nothing we go back upstairs
Me: Hey you *beep* idiots lets break into a ground floor apartment and escape through a window.
Director: Ut-oh I think I've *beep* up yet again
Becky: Yea the fella I met had his brains shot out blood splatter all over me yet in the hallway I'm clean
Director: Sh!t! I really messed up on what could of been a reasonable film.

*SPOILERS BELOW*

****

The ground floor apartments (flats) were all forward facing, just like the ones at the top. So breaking into one of them (which they do towards the climactic scene) and escaping through a window would have led to their deaths.

As for your second point the chap that Becky had met on her night out was shot in the side of the head, hence only minimal spatter on Becky's face. And anyway the top she later removes to bandage Curtis's wound looked pretty dirty to me.

You are correct so they could of broke a window on the second floor passageway and climbed down from there or at least one of them to raise the alarm, or forced one of the service doors on the ground floor.

Totally disagree blood splatter was all over her head 00:21:51 and the grey tank top would not of escaped splatter, yet when she crawled out of the flat and stood up nothing 00:23:56 looks pretty clean to me

The blood splatter thing is called a goof (or "continuity error" if you want). Just about every single movie has them. If you can't handle goofs like missed blood splatter I suggest you stop watching movies, period.

Oh wow! thanks for sharing that pilgrim.
I suggest you stop watching movies and educate the world on your travels .......... errrm with the obvious

Isn't there a scene just after he is shot where she is wiping her face with what appears to be wet wipes.

I may have been a bit drunk and imagined this, but I'm about 80 percent sure that happened.

what i dont get is. wernt there any apartments, or at least windows , on the other side?
no?

There cant seriously be tower blocks where 2 sides are solid concrete all the way up!

That's what drove me nuts. Clearly there are single aspect apartments on each side with a corridor splitting them down the middle. Even ignoring how improbable it would be that all the remaining tenets are on the same side, the fact that we could see the apartment doors on the other side of the hallway and no one thinks to escape the building from that side? I'm also reasonably sure that the two thugs were on the opposite side to everyone else, but maybe their apartment had windows on two sides, being on the end. Really pretty sh!t movie.

The acting wasn't bad, but the nonsense they had to do and say... the mother inexplicably deciding everything was fine now and attempted to just drag her son out through the front door. What? The old woman bizarrely jumping for the door to the roof like a ninja on crack even when they know they buildings booby trapped? What was that? I liked the idea but the writing was just god awful. It was obvious the cop was gonna be the sniper since there really was no other reason for his introduction at the start, but I was hoping for a slightly more convincing motive.

I don't think you watched this movie. Either that or you are being willfully ignorant.

1. There weren't any doors on the other side of the corridoor besides the lift and the door to the roof (both boobytrapped). They explained there was no access to the other side of the building.

2. The thugs were on the same side as the rest of them - why watch a film if you don't have the ability/intention/working eyes to understand it?

3. People all react differently in high pressure situations. People act "irrationally" when they have just witnessed their loved ones dying in front of them.

I'm sure you must be a superhero who would do everything perfectly. You'd get killed quicker than most I believe, as you'd be attempting to walk through none existent doors, and also fail to have any grasp of the layout of the building, despite it being almost all we saw for an hour and a half.

The film had plenty of other flaws, but you probably weren't paying attention to see them.

Agree to disagree on all counts.
