Few issues that get on my nerves. Why not go in a room on the other side of the hall uknow where the sodding sniper wont be able to shoot you.. When down stairs and you see the skip blocking the entrance why not break into one of the ground floor rooms and go out the window on the other side of the building. grrrrr hate stuff not taken into account like that ....Other than that its was pretty good.
The filmmakers clearly need that to be the case for the "plot" to work, but aside from it being architecturally absurd (who would build an apartment block with one side solid concrete lol?) we can see the doors on the other side of the hall in several shots, but most noticeably when the blond is first walking down the hallway to check on the dude from Skins. You can even see the light coming through the fanlights above the doors. Sloppy.
A great little film Duel has where the salesman has missed going for an interview. And surely it makes more sense to just turn around and go the other way. But he still goes the same way. And peoples comment about what Steven Spielberg movie was but there is not movie if he just turns back. In Shawshank Redemption there is no way in a big scene that he can put a picture on the way from where he has come. But it appears on the wall. And when Frank Darabont was asked well who really cares it was on so deal with it. So in this film I think he has thought look its exciting forget that little flaw which would otherwise make it impossible. Must agree people were getting shot much to quick which did seem weird. And made the shooter seem better then I have ever seen. At the end when the girl takes him on he does not appear as good as he is shooting them at random which did make me laugh
