Some parents can be like that and it's unfortunately! So far MacKenzie doesn't seem to be affected by it in an obvious way! She appears happy anyway! I have some resentments toward my own parents due to my brother being "the baby" and treated as such! You expect it; favoritism at every venue of life probably! You learn to live with it!  

Having re-watched almost everything I have to agree with you, Melissa is deplorable.
