It's all unbelievable. Particularly the part where the tourists are American. Everyone knows young Americans do not travel. Especially that far afield

As to young Americans not traveling abroad, well there is quite a bit of evidence (revenue) to the contrary. And think about the number of young white American girls that run around with nationals in their countries and end up missing. Characters in the film were well done.
I am an older technician that works with young college graduates, and with small exception, they think they know everything and that the world is their oyster until something happens and they get a reality check. I work with young people who could have played in this film.
