Even though Amanda died because according to the scientists knew too much on their experiments and probably would have turned them in if given the chance. However I wonder if Amanda could have found a way to escape.

shareTHIS. Right up until a couple minutes before the end I was like regardless of whether or not they escape (Paul? and Amanda) they would die anyway. If not immediately from severe rendition poisoning then from the cancers that will almost inevitable follow such high exposure. I mean, they're faces were practically melting off...

In the alternate ending, she seems to survive, malformed, in a hospital bed.
shareSee Miang, THAT ending makes sense. The scientists had no reason to kill her, ESPECIALLY in such a nasty way; they could have put a freaking needle in her arm and put her to sleep, for cripe's sake! The ending as it stands is a very stupid shock stunt.
