I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
This movie had it all: a rapist, kidnapper and twisted SOB, fantastic performances, twists, and the director even managed to create a beautiful love scene among all this. I usually like the more graphic movies with brutal rapes and murders, but this one truly amazed me.
Agreed, this film was really good and I had almost given up on finding a good new horror in 2012

Agreed.
He clearly demonstrated in Full Metal Jacket that he can play the part of a deranged person. His transformation from a simple likeable guy to a hardcore killer was well done.
A talent he showed once again in this movie.
