throwing knives? really?
can never take them seriously under the best circumstances ... i mean, in a martial arts action movie or 80's gung ho flick they are hard enough to believe, in chained it was incongruous, at best

shareYeah actually if you think about it this was the same guy that had a really hard time throwing rocks with any accuracy earlier in the movie. But he can throw a knife with deadly accuracy lol. That would have been really easy to make more realistic. I guess the director has a thing for throwing knives.

The first rock, which was thrown from the farthest distance, hit rabbit in the side. The others look haphazardly thrown over his rabbit's head, then the last hit him square in the head? They actually showed more rocks hit him than miss him...
Pain is merely the weakness leaving the body!share
I thought the film was very good but I have to admit that jumped out to me as totally out of place as well.

Maybe he threw the rocks poorly on purpose to make the kid think he couldn't hit him, as some people over compensate when they are trying to pretend they are bad at something when they are really not. He's really good a killing and it looks like he slices them up. Do you really think he didn't practice before he did his first killing?

lol....you should see one of my posts on the Sinister page. Talk about overcompensating for crappy writing.
shareI was thinking he was poor at throwing until he threw one bang on target just as the boy was about to get to the ground. To me that made it seem like he was throwing poorly on purpose earlier, to give the kid false confidence and to make sure the kid doesn't fall from too high up and get badly injured.
