I watched this last night and the twist is annoying me. If the dad did set it all up then why was he never abusive to his first wife and son? Or with his second wife?

And when Rabbit said 'I know all about you and your past'... What did that mean? Yes he came from an abusive home but he had never showed any of his brothers tendencies.

Any thoughts?

Yes the movie sucked donkey balls. Got nothing else.

For whatever reason the older brother seems to prefer a normal life, until he doesn't, then he got rid of them and started over. Maybe he got bored of them? The speculation is endless.

It showed real brief flashbacks towards the end of what was supposed to be his dad hitting his mom and him.
