The ending HEAVY SPOILER ALERT
I really enjoyed this movie, it gave me that creepy feeling all the way down my stomach, but either way, the is a lot of post holes.
* Driving the taxi, he didn't put his nose out the door after that incident on the roof ant the age of 9 and he never drove a car.
* What happened to Angie? For some reason I feel that she stayed on with him, I mean, the Rabbit didn't kill her and she was obviously mended to instead of being driven off to a hospital (she would have kept her mouth shut knowing that the Rabbit was also just another victim who to add to it, saved her) and they seemed to like each other. She was the reason the Rabbit killed Bob after all.
* The murder of his own father being reported as a break in/robbery. I mean come on! Just the fact that after the woman yells at him to get out, he freaks out and leaves hundreds of fingerprints after crawling backwards towards the door. A very very quick DNA test of the police shows right away that the victim was murdered by his own son who has been missing for 10 years. She didn't clean up anything before calling the police.
* The madrass in "the other powder room" aka the room of terror was always clean of blood in-between victims. Was the Rabbit THAT good at cleaning up blood? The is not enough bleach in this world...
* Many say here on the message board that he could have overthrown Bob, but the Rabbit was both physically and mentally very week, thin as stick, living by the rules to only eat at Bobs command and only Bobs leftovers.
* A look-back from Bobs dream shows that there was two boys getting home that day to their family with that awful scene with the mother. Thats obvious that it was Bob and his younger brother. I believe both boys were treated equally, abused and having to force themselves on their own mother. Help, thats so disgusting...
* True, that house in the desert became his home, the only one he knew anyway. Being away from a social life and people for half of his life he withdraws there, but does he become a serial killer as well? He only killed TWO MEN. The father and the uncle. He never, ever touched a woman. Would he start all of a sudden? What would he´s motive be? At least the uncle had one. "Sort of".
* The bodies were´nt buried deep at all, in fact quite shallow to the surface, would´nt there be a horrifying stench? There was a white powder played upon one of the bodies, that should have been lime which actually preserves the body from decomposing. Mummifying them. Without internal organs removed that rutts...
I could go on for a while, there was quite a few real plot holes that deserves to be filled. Unfortunately that will never happen.
The other stuff that are unclear are for our own imagination to fill in.
Still, I refuse to believe that he would starts killing women risking everything to save one, not having taste for either sex or murder, and even if he got a taste for killing it would be killing men. Women, as for his mother was only good to him. The other women were innocent. But men, as his own father and uncle let him down big time, so I sure would pick up that if I was him and if it is indeed that what we are supposed to think that he himself became a murderer.
Definitely worth seeing anyway.
