I noticed in the last couple of episodes of Season 3 that some words were pronounced differently in Australia. Sorry, I can't give you an example but has anyone else noticed this? I've noticed it also in some British series. ???
shareI'm watching Season 2, and I've noticed that Phryne is suddenly sounding less upper-class, for lack of a better term. She is definitely not enunciating as clearly as she was in earlier shows, and her speech is not as clipped. She sounds like an entirely different character, one I don't like as much as before.
sharePhryne has changed in a lot of ways. . .. some I like, some I don't. I think the word I was referring to was her pronunciation of the word "episode" which she said as "eh pee sode". I can't remember the others, but I though this one was amusing.
