Fun Show!

Ovation just aired the 90 minute pilot "Cocaine Blues" last night and I really liked it.

Great sets, costumes, real 1920s feel, an interesting lead character. Am looking forward to watching more episodes as I see it's been around for three seasons.

The pilot was very British. Does it ever get into the indigenous Australian people and culture and show any of that conflict?

I started catching the show on Ovation. I have never binged on a show, but this one I would certainly do. The part she plays is a fresh new character and plays it to the hilt

I don't remember any episodes about indigenous people. The only sort of "politics" presented are more in the way of women's rights and communism lite. By that I mean, helping the poor and displaced, especially children, by spreading the wealth a bit.

My mom got me watching it since we both love British TV. I absolutely LOVE this show. Each episode keeps me engaged and interested with so many likeable characters. Unfortunately, they're just airing season 1 on PBS here even though I think it's in its third.
