Phryne makes history!

The season 3 finale shows her embarking on a flight to England. The flight would make her the first female pilot to complete the Australia to England trek. Since the finale takes place in 1929 she would've beat Amy Johnson who accomplished the feat(except it was England to Australia) in reality in 1930.

Yeah, it seemed a little far-fetched. I am guessing it is a lead in for the movie, which supposedly is about her flying around the world.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just fly far enough to catch up with the ship?
