People who should be roasting

Ok so with Greg Giraldo gone, and the general flatness of the Trump roast, Comedy Central really needs to take some chances. I'm pretty sure Jeff Ross and Lisa Lampanelli are going to be there, as well as Snoop Dogg since he recently buddied up with Sheen. I'll bet new-ish comics Anthony Jeselnik and Whitney Cummings will be there since they seem to be able to carry themselves. But, they need to bring back other vet roasters that they are scared of like Nick Di Paolo and Jim Norton. Should probably bring Colin Quinn and Sarah Silverman too while they are at it.

Gilbert Gottfried or Norm MacDonald, nuff' said.

Chelsea Handler should be roasting him!

As long as they don't try to make people with no comedic talent, into someone they are not.

I mean, if they really do something awful, just edit them out and put it on DVD or secret stash. Otherwise, let the best, nastiest and meanest go all out.

I'm more worried about the quality of the roastee than the roasters. It's like they just pick whoever's popular right now. Didn't the old roasts used to be reserved for legends?

TMZ says that Mike Tyson, Steve-O, Anthony Jesselnik, Jeffrey Ross, and Harvey Levin will be there.

reply

It will be interesting having newcomers like Mike Tyson and Steve-O there but if they end up as roasters, please God don't let them suck as bad as "The Situation" did....

reply

I remember Steve-O got booted from one of the roasts mid-taping. I think it was the Gene Simmons roast, which I don't think was even on Comedy Central.

Also, I agree with the Norm and Gilbert suggestions.

As long as they have Lisa Lampanelli, Jeff Ross, Anthony Jeselnik, Whitney Cummings, and Gilbert Gottfried, I don't really care who else shows up.

So apparently, William Shatner, Kate Walsh, Slash, Jon Lovitz, Patrice O'Neal, and Amy Schumer will be there too.

Lisa Lampanelli?
