Steve-O is just a one trick pony.

Out of the Jackass bunch, Johnny Knoxville is the only one with any kind of reasonable claim to being a real entertainer, in the traditional sense, outside of stunts and just hurting yourself for shock value.

With this and DWTS, etc, Steve-O seems to be grasping at straws to find some way to maintain his status as a celebrity and remain relevant in the coming years after no one cares to watch him get injured anymore. The Tyson "punch" at the end felt really desperate. It was like he tried his best to do comedy with everyone else but it didn't go over very well, and it was a last second play to get any kind of attention by doing the only thing he knows how to do... hurting himself for shock value.

It also seemed really inappropriate. Sheen's closing statements struck a great balance between comedy and sincerity and wrapped up the show with a good tone. Steve-O's stunt felt really tacked on at the last second and Shatner's bewildered reaction only made it seem more out of place.

Things are more moderner than before... San Dimas High School football rules!
