I'm a big fan of these, but this was a letdown

I've seen every Comedy Central Roast, so with that said, this one should have been much better, considering who was being roasted. Most of the jokes were so-so, but none stood out.

There wasn't one "big" moment, where the audience is rolling on the floor(Greg Giraldo usually came through in that area). Ultimately, what we're left with is not one of the better roasts. Too bad.

I agree--it wasn't funny and most of the people weren't even comedians. I mean, Steve-O? Mike Tyson? Kate Walsh? I at least thought William Shatner would be good, but nope. Jeff Ross was the only funny one, and some of Seth's jokes were decent.

Charlie Sheen deserved better. So much wasted potential.

What we got was a bunch of people roasting themselves, with too little attention on Sheen. Sure, there were a couple of good jokes, but no BANG!, nothing really memorable. I expected more particularly from Shatner, who even repeated one of his jokes twice ( first time, about someone of the roasters going to high school along Shatner (same age), second time about Demi Moore going to high school with Shatner-- come on!).

Poor jokes, no edgy stuff, all "been there, done that". I might even go far as saying that "Two and a half men" with Kutcher was somehow better than this.

Overall, the whole roast was funny and the jokes we`re on time. Greg Giraldo R.I.P. jokes we`re so over the top but still came out into being really funny God i miss that guy so sad he`s gone.

I thought it was rather weak myself. Jeselnik wasn't as funny as he was in the Trump roast & Ross was the only one who I thought really hit it out of the park & even that was just a fence clearer, not out of the stadium. Wasted opportunity.

Not having Lisa and Greg (RIP) there really made this a bore.

I agree with everyone. This roast just wasn't memorable. The only jokes that stood out were the ones that were spoiled to us on the internet way before this aired so yeah I wasn't blown away. Oh and I knew someone was gonna tell Steve-O the joke that "it should have been him and not Ryan." Not something we've already heard before.

I agree it was relatively subpar compared to the other roasts. (gotta disagree w/ the Flava Flav comment that roast was hilarious.)

Lovitz- I like the guy, but his set was subpar at best and sucked at worst.

Kate Walsh- She was ok. Not sure how much I can really judge since I was mostly just oogling her the first time I watched. 2nd time I looked I was less impressed, but still not bad. =D

Tyson - pleasantly surprised. Some of his stuff was funny--exchanges w/ Jeff Ross were good and the iliad, homer, stealing, and seth joke was good. For whatever reason, he's always entertaining to watch, even if only because he makes an ass of himself, rambles, and doesn't know what to say. Another good thing about his presence was how he gave the roasters plenty of material to work with, e.g. his dumb *beep* tattoo.

Jeff Ross - Solid as always, not as good as he has been before, but still good.

Anthony J - Above average, much better at the Donald Trump roast. Probably still got the best line of the night w/ the Michael J Fox quip.

Patrice - I really expected a lot more out of him; one of the bigger letdowns. I have this performance polarized people. I got what he was doing and how his style was different...it just wasn't that funny imo.

Amy Schumer - Her delivery wasn't too special, but she probably brought the most heat (I did think the Dunn joke was in poor taste). I'd say this was one of the better ones overall.

Shatner - Meh. Average. Some really good stuff in there, but mostly the usual Shattner shtick.

Steve-O - Sucked. No way around it. Somehow he was less coherent and funny than he is/was on drugs.

Seth - Not bad.

Sheen - Pretty good compared to a lot of the other roastees.

I also noticed there were a lot more racial jokes this time around. Most weren't that funny either, just cheap laughs. (deep fried fingers, anyone?)

Yeah, I was disappointed.

No one really brought it with a really good roast IMO other than Ross, and I'd already heard the majority of his jokes before when he roasted Charlie during Charlie's tour.

Most of the roasters were mediocre to okay.
