Favorite Jokes
*(I was trying to post this five days ago-but my computer just went out-so this could be coming too late. Anyway: --I liked a lot of the jokes even when they came from the roasters I hardly heard of(like Amy Schuler and Anthony Jesselnik).
Although(not too long ago I didn't know who she was) I missed Lisa Lampenelli.
A lot of the material was hilarious to me.Even if much of it was mean spirited.
Some of my favorites:
Charlie Sheen(to Jeselnik):"... years from now-when you're locking up at Radio Shack...(and making fun of Jesselnik's slow delivery)you'll be thinking to yourself: I---wish --I --was---------funnier!"--(hilarious)
Jon Lovitz: "How much cocaine can Charlie Sheen smoke?---enough to kill 'Two and a half Men'!"
Amy Schmuler's line:You (Charlie) and Bruce Willis have something in common. You were both popular in the Eighties and now your old slot's being filled with Ashton Kutcher!" (Great one)
Jeffrey Ross (to Slash): You're like the Abe Lincoln of Rock and Roll--especially since you haven't had a hit in four score and seven years!"
(I love it when they pull a zinger at the unsuspecting members of the audience to add to the ones on stage.
That's generally what I love about the roasts. No one knows who's gonna get insulted next or what's gonna be said. It's so random--like the roasters at the mike have Tourettes--Lol!
