Will she go to jail?

Now that is a good question. I can't say either way. Throughout the movie the mother didn't seem to care at all about her. From that i would say she would call the cops. But the last scene of her hugging her daughter makes me feel otherwise. She is devastated but she knows that her daughter is very mentally ill. I'm not sure what she'd do.

She's completely detached from reality by the close of the movie. Nut house obviously.

She did love her daughter, maybe too much as I think she saw herself in Pauline and said as much in the scenes where she talks about the mother and they way she keeps trying and how she still tells she loves her despite her antagonism.
Also now that Grace is dead (who sadly would have died anyway prematurely) she only has one child left and a dysfunctional marriage so it is likely she will try to save her but as Pauline is clearly crazy she would need real care so it would be the hospital etc. she would call / contact. She will not hide the daughter but maybe the neighbor while in a state of panic? The mother is also mentally ill possibly due to her mothers treatment so literally anything could happen but the father is grounded enough to call the cops but then he would walk away from them both and possibly even commit suicide from depression.
The film is about different forms of illness from physical to mental health they are all struggling with something but ignoring it to a greater or lesser extent and it is this which eventually causes the family to unravel.
I feel very sorry for Pauline as with a little help it could have been avoided and she really could have gone on to be someone in a medical capacity rather than someone who will be a medical curiosity.

The crime will be hard to cover up as there are two victims involved (one whom visited the house in broad daylight) and police look to the parents first when a child goes missing. I don't see her going to jail though; she's very delusional and I believe she's a minor. She'll likely go to a mental hospital.

Not sure what she might do, but Traci Lords acted the *beep* out of this scene, showing both anguish for Grace and a love and worry for Pauline, and I think you see that in Annalynne McCord's face, too. Craaaa-zyyyy!
