#1: 2012 Mrs. Jenkins/Abandoned baby
I adore the story of Mrs. Jenkins, the upgrading of her life, and the incredible warmth of Sister Julienne during the dickie birds sequence.
#2: 2014 Mother&Baby home, Cynthia's call
Bored by Cynthia's call but fascinated by the streeted patients struggling to cope. And I love the Mother/baby home material, especially Avryl's strength and the effects of a snowstorm on Chummy's family.
#3: 2015 Carol service broadcast/Sister Monica Joan runs away
Adored the story of Lorna's mother and seeing Sister Monica Joan in the glacial mansion with the nuke activists.
#4: 2017 Caravan baby/abusive husband
Enthralled by the slow revelation of what paraffin man did to his family.
#5: 2013 Unexploded bomb/looming marriage/polio
Tim tries so hard to help while feeling so ill. Sister Monica Joan fails to divine the true purpose of the hyacinth. Shelagh thinks she has no sisters.
#6: 2018 Next mother superior
Meh.
#7: 2016 South Africa
Never rewatch this one. Not Christmassy at all. As an episode on its own, hate that it's not set in the UK.
