I hope there's more about the actual geostorm than the assassination

I was so excited reading about the Geostorm side of the plot: climate control satellites and a storm of epic proportions? Awesome! Then I read "meanwhile his brother plans to assassinate the president"...Blast!

It's such an interesting idea...why do they have to try and make it into a bloody action movie? I'm hoping it's more about the geostorm, natural disaster-ish than an attempt at a fighting action movie.

The synopsis reads, "his brother discovers a plot to assassinate the president". Doesn't say the brother is the one behind this plot.

At any rate, that synopsis BLEW MY MIND. "Climate-controlling satellites." "Storm of epic proportions." "Plot to assassinate the president." All in one sentence, too -- like, "Yep, this makes sense". Sound more like a sh!tstorm of epic proportions to me.
