In that scene when Greta found out Dave had cheated. How do you think she knew? I mean in which part/aspect of the song?
My not so sure guess is because she felt Dave wouldn't write such lyrics thinking of her. And also he was acting rather weird already.
Very near the beginning. First off, he mentioned that he was inspired to write a new song while he was In LA and she wasn't there. Then he wouldn't look at her while the song was playing and it was obvious about someone.
shareI wasn't paying attention to the lyrics but basically what the other person just said -- she put together that it's a new song, he said he was "inspired" on tht trip, together with the lyrics and that he was looking shame-faced, and she knew him well enough to know his reactions to things. When you know someone really well and you know their art well if their an artist, it's like reading a diary at times.
