The comedy was great... then the second half was just disturbing. It was like the comedic dark comedy overtones were forgotten, and it was just another *beep* up movie that went completely dramatic. the last few comedic jokes were no longer funny. I'm not sure what to think, but Michael Bay is a moron... so that is a good enough explanation.
shareWell, it still had to tell the story it was based on, in which this gang killed two people and chopped them up. So it's less Bay and more just sticking with the true story. Plus, the entire film is already messed up, they did try to kill the first victim, even though they failed, so the fact that they killed the next two victims wasn't surprising, in fact Harris's characters warns the police says "These guys are gonna get hungry again.", so it's not like the darker turn came out of nowhere.
