If you don't get this movie here's a hint

Ever watched "American Psycho" ? The tone of this movie is a bit similar: The horrifying factor IS the comedy. it's stupid and disturbing at the same time because that's what it's aiming for-

You have a bunch of guys who are all perfected products of a horrible society: Marky mark's character is your average manchild obsessed with living like the heroes in those hollywood movies that he grew up on. His friend at the gym is the same, but marky here takes it more seriously and worships capitalism's version of success like a dog following his owner.

And the third main character -with Dwayne we have your average born-in-poverty person who grew up with violence and anger issues, he wants to be a different person and maybe has good intentions, but he lacks the basic education a person needs and when he returns to society instead of rehabilitating him no one cares about him, they won't give him the simplest job and the only people who accept him are criminals and outcasts. So he falls into his regular pattern, and gets dragged into sh*t 'cause he is and always has been insecure(despite being huge).

Bottom line is, this movie is about men who never grew up. You can see they are just a bunch of kids still playing with toys and role playing what they saw on TV. These men are probably around the age of 35 but they have no idea what is sexuality, real self-value, or any other trait of an adult person's life. For them it's all about hoarding stuff and consuming stuff.

I bet there are many like them, these 3 guys just took the dangerous step and further from there on it's gonna be ugly. This is why the movie is bothersome. It's ridiculous and realistic and the same time. I bet you most horrible people that are damaging society\the planet, are not really james bond villain types, they're just abused children that have no idea how to live life in peace.
