In the pre HIV/AIDS days if you got a dose of "The Old Joe" you went to the clap clinic, got your baloney checked out, got your prescription and you were right back in action. I was at Monaco in '76 front row Ste. Devote. Met Hunt Friday night at the Hotel de Paris with his new girlfriend (Jane Birbeck?), Suzy was long gone. I was just a young guy then who traveled to Monaco to see my sports heroes on my college commencement. I picked up my degree when I got home. The memories... I had a room at the Hotel Balmoral, now demolished, $37.50 USD per day included breakfast and dinner.
