Worth watching after The Endless?
I just watched The Endless. Didn't love it but it was interesting. Is this worth seeing after that? Is it spoiled by the follow up movie?
shareWell I just watched it now and find strong ties between the two, and I'm still not sure how I feel about these films. They make you think for a while afterward so at least that makes it worth the time I guess.
sharei like both films quite a bit. i probably prefer resolution - it seems to hold together a little better, and the endless feels a bit too drawn out - but their both good, interesting films.
have you tried 'spring' from the same directors? i remember liking it as well, but it's been a few years and i can only vaguely remember it.
Spring is on my watch list as well, will watch it soon. I like that I'm still thinking about these films. Coherence (2013) is another one that left me thinking for a while even though I can't remember how it ended.
sharecoherence is a big favourite of mine as well. not that i think it's perfect - it's got a few things that don't really work in it, imo - but i love its lo-fi twilight zone feel, and it's a film that's really fun to revisit.
