I am. It was FANTASTIC!!
Every now and then a movie hits me so hard that I just gotta review it and do my little part to let the world know about it (or warn them away from it lol) and this was one of those movies.
I was absolutely riveted and they did such a fantastic job of pacing and foreshadowing to make you absolutely dread what might be around the corner.
It wasn't perfect, i thought the main characters dialogue and motivations were annoying at times how he just lied or dismissed things that anybody else on the planet would be shocked by and eager to talk about but that's really about my only complaint.
This was hands down the best horror flick I've seen in the last year or so. I had to swallow hard to pay 6.99 on amazon to watch it as i couldn't find it anywhere else, for some reason an online friend of mine I barely know offered to paypal me the 7 bucks if the movie sucked to reimburse me for the instant watch rental, all i gotta say is that i will not be asking him for that money.
Horror fans really gotta see this.
I liked it a lot too. I think it would've been better if they would have started the story a little earlier so we could have gotten more of the backstory. We really didn't need an hour to get to know the two main characters and while the dialogue was very realistic, at times it did start to get a little long winded. Luckily the druggy was funny.
When it did finally take off I was hooked and from there is was a solid original horror flick.

How many of you had a part in the development/marketing of this movie?
shareAt a guess? 0. What's even more pathetic is this accusation by dimwits on IMDB that every movie people like that either they didn't, or haven't heard of, is by people involved with the film. This film has been a festival favorite, and has been embraced with open arms by the horror community. People love it, because it's intelligent, and doesn't insult the viewer with excessive exposition. In no way am I involved with the making of the film. I just love good movies, AND I call people out for the "You were involved with the film" nonsense every time I see it. If you would like evidence of this, please see my post history. Do yourself a favor and stop using this childish, idiotic logic. It makes you look like a troglodyte.

If you're the real Aaron Moorhead who produced this movie, congratulations. It's great, a lot better than most Hollywood blockbusters, smart and got me sitting in front of it without blinking from the beginning to the last scene. And I AM a sesoned Horror flick fan to evaluate the quality of a movie in this genre. 7.5.

Dude... Aaron. That's so cool you made mock webpages to be able to delve and explore deeper. You've gained a new fan.
What is it about being dead that makes me so horny?
I really liked this movie however I have one major gripe with it: Mike manages to drive off two violent and extremely pissed off drug dealers who then explicitly threaten to "come back later" but Mike keeps going out on his solitary walks, leaving Chris alone and helpless on the cabin floor...!? :/

correct. too simple.
shareYeah, wasn't a bad movie at all. Was pleasantly surprised. Expected much-much worse.
shareI really enjoyed this movie. This is the kind of movie I like, because we as the viewers, just like the characters don't know what is going on. Great movie! I'm glad I stumbled upon it on Netflix.
You mean they could still be living in a primitive state of neurotic irresponsibility?
I thought that the film was kind of a rift or variation on BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. That was the classic 'lo-fi' horror film where the viewer knows as little as the characters in the story as to what actually takes place. Both the characters and the viewers gain information simultaneously, and there's the barest of backstory or set up, and, most importantly, there is absolutely NO 'resolution'(pun intended!)in either film.
