shareWhere are you from? It's not being released wide in the U.S. anytime soon, but it will be released at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 17th I think it is. Between now in August it will be released in UK, Turkey, New Zealand, Belgium and others. If you say where you hope it's being release, I could possible tell you. It doesn't have a wide release in Australia yet, but it will be shown at the Sydney film festival.

shareIn Germany and Switzerland it opened on May 29th and I assume Austria, France and Italy will follow in June or July at the latest. Haven't seen it yet but I'm thrilled to watch a classic Highsmith adaptation on the big screen again, it was high time!
shareA couple of different dates for the U.S., either late September or early October. It played at the Seattle International Film Festival last week. Other festivals have it scheduled before the general release, I understand, but I didn't find any general list on a (very) quick search.
It looks as if it will be in most of Europe this summer. It was released in the U.K. a couple of weeks ago. Lots of reviews online from the various critics and papers. Everybody likes the acting, but not everyone likes the film itself so much, at least not people who loved THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY. Others raved about it. The usual answer when that sort of thing happens is to read a few reviews and then go see the film for yourself -- whenever it appears.
