The acting

in this film is top notch across the board. I wasn't expecting much from this film, despite liking a lot of the previous work from most everyone involved. OI and Viggo were particularly great. Ever since Drive and ILD I've become a fan of Isaac, but this movie only solidified it for me. He's a true talent, and held his own against the great Viggo. Was very happy to see Viggo again.

I am you and what I see is me.

I'm sure I read that Isaac did this like a week after doing 'Inside Llewyn Davis' too, he has suddenly burst on to the scene and has now been cast in 'Star Wars Episode VII' so we can look forward to more of him for a while, I think.
The acting was great in this by all involved and it stands head and shoulders above any other part of the production. The story moved too slowly for what it was to me which sadly drew me out of it a little.

I actually wasn't totally sold on Isaac in this role. I think he was well-cast but just didn't nail it for me, maybe a bit too low-key, lacking intensity.. Looking forward to being wowed by him in the future though, I feel he has great potential.
Dunst is always a welcome presence and hit all the right notes here, and Viggo was excellent throughout.
Good flick, old-school vibe and beautiful scenery, though I feel the proceedings lost a bit of steam coming into the third act.
