Chris Nolan's Following

Its been a while since I have seen Following, but it feels very similar. Anyone else care to weigh in?

Haven't seen "Following" but following, as an idea, is very Patricia Highsmith (author of novel, Two Faces of January).

The book was written several years before Nolan was even born
