Answer to those who disliked it.

People don't worry, on the boards of every great film, there is one such dumb and retard poster who will ruin the film. He will try to overload the threads with his mental vomit that he didn't like the film while many will be praising that the film was great. Such mean are mostly births of 21st century who know nothing about human emotions, feelings, human errors, the THINGS a NORMAL human does, human mistakes, blunders and such things. They all believe that everything to be perfect enough like 2+2=4 and when it is not, they start screaming with their mental nausea to ruin it for everyone else who would have loved such film. Most of these people are today's iPhoners, Tablet users who have never seen a REAL LIFE because when they were born the world was being shown on 1080p LCDs or plasma screens. They know nothing about "human eye adventures".

I appreciate your passion, AwaixJvd, but you know, you really don't need to post it three times. Those of us who get it -- and mainly agree -- will get it the first time, and those who don't probably won't for years, if ever.

Still, it's nice to see someone passionate about something they think is good. Too often here the only posters are the haters.

I certainly appreciate your concern and i apologize for posting it three times. I did it but there was some reason behind:

I just ended watching this film and i loved it simply. Everything was good about it then i came to see it's goofs which i like to read at the end of watching of every film. This you might call some habit but i like reading goofs and sometimes reading the filming locations. Sometimes the sound tracks names and sometimes find same topic films that many good posters recommend in threads answering to others. While scrolling down the threads when you see one such idiotic thread and just out of curiosity i open it to find out some possible goof that someone might have mentioned and making it the reason for his dislike and then i come across his mental nausea, it turns me upside down. The whole great mood swing created by film is dashed to ground. There must be someone telling them that they belong to herds of smartphone generations who know nothing about 20th century good things.

I am again sorry that i had to answer your post because i felt bad about such people who come here after watching such films and then come to ruin it for everyone else and thinking in mind that they are some sort of supreme-criticizer of this century and whole world is dumb except them. These kind of people should go and watch:

G.I.Joe Retaliation
Avengers
Ninja Turtles
Red
Rambo series

I think it would be better for you if you could relax a bit. No need to take this board so seriously. It's intended for random strangers to comment, rant, or sometimes just happily discuss films and people involved in them. Nobody in the business, so far as I know, takes anything said here to heart. Most of the folks who see movies and have time to comment on them are, not to put too fine a point on it, young and/or not very knowledgeable about movies. Now and again one can have an interesting discussion, maybe even learn something, but mostly it's just mildly amusing, and sometimes just a bit disgusting.

My advice (and I hope I don't sound condescending, which isn't my intent): don't waste your time feeling too bad about what is said here. Enjoy what you can, and let the rest go. Real life is somewhere else than on the boards, after all.

That said, it's nice to have a passion about quality and the appreciation or lack of appreciation of it. Just don't let the insignificant get you down.

AwalxJvd - you need to get over yourself, seriously, you really do.

Generally speaking you might be right, but The Two Faces is just dull, not a great movie for sure.

And the part about "Turtles and GIJoe" is just snob.. not every slow movie is a good movie, you know?

PS: Rambo is actually a good movie, much deeper and meaningful than this thriller with no thrill, and not so much about action..did you ever watch it?

People like a film or don't, it's as simple as that. There's nothing wrong with people who dislike a film for whatever reason. If that's a problem for you, just get over it. I didn't like it because I have read the novel which is far superior, there have been much better films of Patricia Highsmith's work than this. For example The Talented Mr Ripley which this film is clearly indebted to. I have to admit I found your post hilarious as it was such arrant nonsense. Really mental vomit, human eye adventures, what does that mean? The funniest was that the people responsible were born in the 21st century which would make them between the ages of 1 and 14 years of age. I am assuming that English isn't your first language.

I like human eye adventure movies. Much better than robot eye adventure movies.

So sad, but true. I feel sorry for people who are unable to enjoy something like this. This 'instant gratification' element that saturates our world nowadays has really taken it's toll on people's brains. I was absolutely hypnotized by this film, and amazed that it slipped by almost unnoticed.

Yes, this film was very good. Could have been better, but the good outweighed the bad by far. I don't know who rated it so low.
