Editing or Direction?

This movie feels like it could be good, moments and scenes... Like the content is there... But it falls short, seems like it does not take it's time... Am I the only one who thinks it could have been played better? Obviously not based on it's reception, but at least among those of us, insane enough to want to talk about it here?

If it were ten or so min longer, just by taking a bit longer in each sequence or shot- it would work a lot better me thinks.

Dialog?

Seems like it was a mix of modern film making,
combined with old style Classic film making.
It does work, but it's difficult to mix the two.

if it was half an hour SHORTER it would work better. scenes where rydal and chester just look at each other and don't even speak..? yeah, i get it. you think you're artsy. but you're not, not with this worn, tired old plot, halfhearted effort to write dialog and minimal action.
