Looks funny and romantic, with the right critical backing could be a modest hit.

The critics will likely pan this. My instincts were right about their tepid reception to Trumbo last year and that looked far better than this did by comparison.

I say it's gonna be better received than Trumbo

Trumbo was directed by Jay Roach, this directed and written by Warren Beatty

This is just a fun, odd comedy, in line with Melvin and Howard. When did The Aviator get re-evaluated? When it came out, most found it to be a snooze

It's not that bad. Reminded me of Hail Caesar which was a harmless lighthearted bit of fluff that was a box office success.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
