Is the fact that the main character is an undercover police officer a part of the plot twist, unknown to the viewer until the reveal? It seems that's the only detail revealed here.

In 1987 Poland, a police officer investigating mysterious disappearances infiltrates a remote monastery and discovers a dark truth about its clergy.

Isn't the fact that there is a dark truth related to the clergy also a spoiler?
