a real cop would

Either be there in person or have another officer there. The first thing i would do, if i were stupid enough to believe an officer were asking me to violate someones 4th amendment rights over the phone, would be to call the officer's precinct to verify that at least he is an officer. And no real officer would request citizens do any of that--especially over the phone. Come on, people.

No *beep* They obviously didn't know. Not everybody watches Cops. These were innocent people who were pressured by an imposing figure of authority. He eventually brainwashed these folks to do his every will. If you think that's impossible or stupid, tell that to the many decent Germans who turned on Jews in world war 2 because some guy with a goofy moustache said it would be a good idea.

I read The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. Those doing the murders had horrible nightmares and drank until they couldn't stand up the next day and many were killed later anyway. Pretty crap deal for them too.

I figure even if people were stupid enough to go for this initially it HAS to stop the second a male is suggested to be in the room with her for any reason while she is not fully clothed.

How they bought that a guy is supposed to be able to order her to reveal her body is a Scooby Doo mystery. Even male cops can't strip search women. Hell they can't even cavity search a woman when she's fully clothed.
