Well, I watch a lot of movies. If I was bored it wasn't because of any inability on my part to pay attention.
First of all, you said that the film suffered from poor storytelling, but instead of providing examples and/or some kind of film analysis to support your assertion, you tell us that you played a video game for the last half hour of the film, ultimately proving absolutely nothing. Secondly, in your next reply you say that your boredom wasn't because of your inability to pay attention because you watch a lot of movies, this being a logical non sequitur...
If you liked the movie, that's ok. You neither have to apologize for your opinion or chastise others for theirs. I was just sharing my experience with the film.
No problem, but please remember there are two types of movie-lovers: those who watch films to be entertained (and whose opinions about film basically boil down to the degree they were entertained) and those who watch films for art's sake (and whose critiques about film are based on a deep understanding of the art of cinema and visual storytelling, as well as the art of screenwriting, acting, cinematography, etc). Which means if you are going to say that a film suffered from poor storytelling but can only support this critique with a comment about playing a video game while watching it, then you probably should just say the film didn't entertain you and simply leave it at that. No offense, of course...
