Probably the most engrossing Documentary I've ever seen

This seems like the kind of film where it will be incredibly hard to articulate properly all of its qualities. All I can say is that it is seriously good. Frederic Bourdin is the most illuminating presence on screen I have seen in a long time.

Just do yourself a favour and see it.

I recently visited the US, and tried to get to the films that had the least likelihood to be shown where I live. I very much enjoyed this film, but not as much as another documentary I saw, Waiting for Sugarman.

Two excellent films, much better than any of the fictional films I managed to see.

I think you mean Waiting for Superman.
Or possibly Searching for Sugar Man??

yea this is so unbeleivable that it really makes you think truth is stranger than fiction"

If you liked this you should definitely check out "Dear Zachary" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1152758/). "The Imposter" was good but this is far more engrossing and devastating. One word of advice though: don't read too much about it or watch trailers; much more effective that way.

Oh god. Dear Zachary broke me. A very good documentary, completely engrossing.

"Dear Zachary". Devastating movie. More and more I find documentaries to be so much better than fiction films because they actually tell STORIES.

Great documentary.

/\ I second that. Not quite what I expected, but far better than anticipated.
