Why are people basing their analysis of what happened to Nicolas Barclay, and the potential killing of him by their family, on the body language and words of the family members interviewed? Aren't they all actors?

The cast of actors are used for the reconstructions only as far as I know. They could hardly present interviews with actors and pass it off as real, unless they really are trying to mess with our heads!
