State your theory!

I wish I had one! I would love to hear other people's theories on this so please let us know and give us your reasons.

My only thought is this: It's unlikely for the imposter to fool even one family member let alone several so whatever happened includes the family. What that is, I have no idea.

I think the family killed him the sister definitely knew because she told the imposter about everyone in the family without that he wouldn't have been able to convince everyone he was Nicolas. When the family was told he was not Nicolas they refused to do a blood test they obviously couldn't believe there luck when someone claimed to be Nicolas you can't be charged with murder if the person is 'alive' and living with you.

It'd be way off because this film is our basis of interpretation .And it could have skewed our subconscious opinion .
Regardless,I am guessing that
? ?]Jason killed him without much substantial motive (accidental, maybe?).
Mom and sis could or couldn't have known.
As for the imposter,I wish he dies the most horrible death .
Deducted one or two points from this movie as it spent way too much of the viewer's time giving a perspective of that worthless piece of *beep* How he felt, every step of the way as if that was what one's concern .Too much is made of what goes in the mind of a killer/gangster/ fraud etc while most of the times, they're just average annoying sub human wastes.

There are a million theories I could have for this case. I don't know the truth and neither does anyone else on these boards.

I do believe it's possible that the family were in collective denial and thought it was Nicholas, because they wanted to believe it so much.
