one thing that confused the heck out of me

Why was young George Clooney and Britt Robertson's younger brother the same person? OK - so maybe they weren't the same person but was it deliberate on the writers part to cast two almost identical looking young actors? Was this part of the whole "tachyon" thing? I'm confused.

They're not really that much alike.

I agree that they did resemble each other somewhat in this movie, wondered it myself when I first saw it...

"Well, isn't this place a geographical oddity! Two weeks from everywhere!"

i agree, as well. truly bizarre casting. they looked identical.

I had to look up the characters/actors whilst watching as i was convinced it was the same actor!
