I thought this was going to be released on VOD platforms today? That's what the articles on this movie have been saying but I don't see it on iTunes or anything

That's what I'd like to know. Sorry, if you thought I had an answer for you. So I'm trying to decide between this, and 1408, which was based off of a Stephen King book. King's always a hit, or miss w/ me, but it's older, so I trust the 6.8 rating. Still, to anyone who reads this, if you've seen both films, in your opinion, which film is better?

1408 it is a movie I had low expectations for, and then I ended up really liking it. The Houses October Built is a movie I have mixed feelings on. I like how Halloweenie it feels and there's a couple of moments that I thought were legitimately scary but it was a little too long, and the characters were kinda flat
