for some reason Paul has been on my mind a lot lately

not sure why. i play a 70s playlist every day for several hours and some of his songs pop up, obviously. that could be it.

but really though there must be something else, as to why. his content really does stand out in a different way from so many other artists. his songs have a deep pathos to them. they are ethereal and hypnotizing. few, few singer-songwriters can hold a candle to Paul Davis.


imo he is so well rounded, too. and i doubt we can even know all the songs he wrote for others who got all the glory when they recorded it.


this man is truly a rare gem.
