Episode 1 was way better than I expected, but even better was some of the music. The character of Kate sings like an angel. If that is really her voice, I'll look forward to hearing more and maybe being able to download some of the songs. So far, so good!
shareI could be wrong, but the majority of the music I've heard in both episodes so far sounds like they're being sung by Jill Barber, rather than original period-specific music (with the exception of that scene with all the girls singing in the factory, obviously). One of my favourite singers, her music really has a retro feel.
A friend of mine @adalinemusic has recorded new songs for episodes 1 (the short song at the end) & 6. I haven't been able to find much more other than the aforementioned Jill Barber tracks in episode 2 and that actor Charlotte Hegele did her own singing. Follow Adaline's twitter or that for either the show @bombgirls or prodution company @backalley_films surely for news of soundtrack releases.
