On February 7, 2012, Bomb Girls was renewed by Shaw Media for a second season which will consist of 12 episodes.

Amazing! So relieved to hear this. I actually was so impressed with all 6 episodes. Unlike some shows where it peaks and troughs.

SO VERY GLAD!

This was very well done. Sometimes with period dramas they don't quite get it right, but this one did not lag at all through the 6 episodes. Not one dull bit.

Season 2 can not start soon enough for me. Love, love, love the show. When is the second season beginning?

Well, if they got the news the 7th, I guess they are writing/filming new material? I don't think the return-date will be too soon, unless they knew about the pickup and started writing/filming mid season 1. Let's hope it's the later one, but it's doubtful.

Surely they'd start writing it end of this, next year then it'd come out next? That's how TV shows usually work. Otherwise they get forgotten :(

oh thank god! I hadn't realised it was only a six part series and feel that it didn't finish, we were just starting to get to know the characters, and they are WONDERFUL.
I'm so glad it will be back for another 12 eps, I think theres much depth to the story already and can't wait to see that fully explored.
