I like Kate and Betty. I go back and forth on Gladys. (the character is interesting but the actress meh).
Marco is growing on me but Lorna... nah. Not yet.
I think the rich parents are a bit over-the-top with their pique and snotty attitude.
I like Vera, the one who was disfigured on the line, and Lorna seems to have the most presence.

Lorna, Vera, Kate, and Betty are my favourites. I hate pretty much everyone else, though Marco is slowly growing on me.

Lorna is a tough one to categorize. She's a great character, but sometimes does some despicable things. However, Meg Tilly is acting the hell out of the role, making Lorna always very compelling to watch!
shareInitially, I didn't like Artie, James, Hazel, Kate's father and Gladys' father but Artie and James kind of grew on me later on. I definitely love Betty, Kate, Gladys, Lorna, Marco, Vera and Leon. I like Bob and Edith too. Also, I hate all the misogynistic men on the show (that scene where some of the male workers were reading their harassing messages from Gladys' suggestion box made me want to hit something). I love that Marco really does appear to respect women.
Personally, I find Lorna difficult to judge. I mean, all the characters are flawed and they make mistakes but the show is so well-written that I find their actions kind of, I don't know, understandable? (Probably not the best word, but you know).
All the girls are great and Outerbridge does an amazing job as the husband.
Can someone please recast the Italian guy as Marco. He's a pretty boy, but he sure can't act. I saw him in an interview in Vancouver where he was talking about how lucky Meg Tilly was that she got to kiss him. A little too much flash and not enough substance.
