Haven't seen her in recent episodes (I'm on season 2) - did I miss something, or did they just drop her character?

Was Edith the lady with 2 kids and a dead husband? If so she mentions she got another job that pays more.

Yeah..a job that pays .08 more an hour for building 50 lb bombs vs. the 25 pounders where the other girls still work.
