alex breaking up with charlie and falling out of love with him so that there will be an alex and joel story. i get that joel is so much hotter and sexier and perfect, but i loved alex and charlie. they just had a mature relationship that was more believable. alex and joel just seem like they're gunna have sex everywhere but there is no future.

It seems as if Alex is somewhat "regressing" to when she and Joel has their 'relationship' in med school. That relationship wasn't mature or meaningful. They broke up for a reason. In the beginning of the show, Joel was still as shallow as ever. He also seemed to try for Alex again because she is his "one that got away" and the one "he couldn't conquer" and actually had little respect for her current choices.
Then, after her 'event' she just falls out of love with Charlie and then she gives into her sexual desires for Joel? I mean, it seemed as if it was a rebellion of sorts and "i'll do the next guy that I see" sort of thing, and since there were really only two options, Joel had the demeanor of sex since Charlie had the demeanor of care and love. I get that there are urges but she seems to have lost her character, experience, and composure in the latest episodes.
Isn't that sort of the point? She's different after what happened...That's whats supposed to keep us watching, right? Will she go back to normal, get back with Charlie etc?
How boring and completely unrealistic would it be if she were the exact same after what happened, and everything fell perfectly into line?

Personally they just killed this show for me, sick of this crap from TV Shows and this just went to a 1/10 for me.

Well it certainly has that feeling after the final scene of Joel 2:31.
I think Alex and Joel have fairly good chemistry, and Alex seems to prefer his friendship over Charlie's love...a friendship which has now turned into a romance it appears. Maybe it will last, maybe it won't, the season is still young. Some will say that Joel will always be a cheater, but I think if he will settle down with one person, it's Alex.
Although this season has been relationship-heavy, I still think there have been some really good and interesting medical cases. The shuffling isn't ruining anything for me because I think they've been setting it up for quite some time now. Still very interested in where the characters are headed and the whole medical and supernatural element of the show.
